111th Japan Academy Prize Commemorative Lectures

The Japan Academy (Nippon Gakushi-in) honors individuals with the most eminent records of academic and scientific achievement. Prof. Shunsuke Kobayashi and Prof. Tatsuo Uchida have been selected as the recipients of Japan Academy Prize for "Elucidation of the Physical Properties of Liquid Crystal and the Study of High-Performance Liquid Crystal Displays". The Award Ceremony was held on June 21, 2021, in the presence of Their Majesties The Emperor and Empress.

To commemorate the prize, two professors give lecture video on their achievements. Please enjoy the lectures.
