Information for Authors

Overview of Presentation

The IDW '20 will be held using the ZOOM platform for presentation and the online chat tool "Guilded" to communicate presenters with participants.
All the authors must submit a "prerecorded presentation video file" prior to the conference.
In addition, the authors of poster presentations must submit a "poster/slide pdf file" prior to the conference.

(1) Oral presentations

  • The session host will play your prerecorded presentation video during the scheduled presentation date and time according to the conference program.
  • Join in your session and answer live questions about your presentation.
  • The oral sessions will be recorded. The session video will be open to the conference participants until the end of January 2021.
  • The presenters can communicate with participants via the online chat communication tool.

(2) Poster presentations

  • The prerecorded presentation video and poster/slide pdf files will be open to the conference participants as soon as the conference begins. They will be open to the conference participants until the end of January 2021.
  • The presenters can communicate with participants via the online chat communication tool.
  • Join in the poster Q&A session with the online chat communication tool on 17:10-18:10 (JST), December 10, and answer questions.
Preparation of Pre-recorded Video (for both oral and poster presenters)

The authors must make a "prerecorded presentation video file" prior to the conference and submit it.

Deadlines:

  • For regular paper presenters: November 20, 2020 at 23:59 (UTC-10)
  • For Late-News paper presenters: November 23, 2020 at 23:59 (UTC-10)

Please note that if you are unable to meet this deadline, your presentation at IDW '20 will be canceled.

Preparation of Poster/Slide (for poster presenters)

The authors of poster presentations must make a Poster/Slide pdf prior to the conference and submit it.

Deadline of submission is November 30, 2020 at 23:59 (UTC-10).

Please note that if you are unable to meet this deadline, your presentation at IDW '20 will be canceled.

Presenter Registration

Each presentation requires a registration fee. Registration with payment of the registration fee is required.
Please complete registration via the registration page.

a) For regular paper presenter

Presenter's Registration Deadline: October 1, 2020 at 23:59 (UTC-10)

For Invited Speaker's registration
Please note that author must create a new online account on the registration system for the registration payment.

b) For Late-News paper presenter

Late-News Paper Presenter's Registration Deadline: November 6, 2020 at 23:59 (UTC-10)

Please note that author must create a new online account on the registration system for the registration payment.

No refunds of registration fees will be made for withdrawal of presentation. However, IDW will reimburse the registration fee as a result of the cancellation of the accepted paper by the IDW program committee.

Copyright

The copyrights of your submitted camera-ready manuscript will be transferred to ITE and SID. See the copyright terms and conditions. On the other hand, the copyrights of your pre-recorded presentation will not be transferred. We will have the right to make it available online to the registered conference attendees until Jan. 31, 2021 after your presentation.
