APHRODI Corporation  
New color gamut evaluation system(Gamut Rings) and MTF measurement system
Gamut rings is a new method for visualizing a three-dimensional color gamut (CIELAB color space) in two dimensions including brightness direction. The three-dimensional color gamut is sliced at a certain lightness, stretched onto a flat surface, and arranged in rings. As a result, if the area of colors that can actually be expressed is large, the differences can be clearly displayed even if the color reproduction range is the same on a conventional xy chromaticity diagram. Joint exhibit with Prometheus, Admesy.
MTF measurement system using line base method is very fast and accurate method to measure MTF which will be as international standard next year.

CITIZEN FINEDEVICE is a manufacturer that can offer the entire process from the development and manufacture of ferroelectric liquid crystals (FLC) to the manufacture of LCD/LCOS panels and the assembling with moldings and optical components.
We have developed new FLC which has a wider cone angle, a wider temperature range and improved resistance to alignment defects. The new FLC is also available for SLM not only LCOS. For instant, we will demonstrate holographic display by SLM used the new FLC.
And we will exhibit fundamental sample of holographic contact lens display we are joining to develop with TUAT et al.

We will primarily showcase Ansys simulation software and Fluxim products. Ansys optics simulation software offers capabilities such as ray tracing analysis using illumination optics (Speos or Zemax) and projection optics (Zemax), as well as electromagnetic field analysis using physical optics (Lumerical), among other applications.
Fluxim products support the analysis of OLEDs and related technologies. Their simulation software, Setfos and Laoss, enables optical and electrical simulation of devices and panels. In terms of hardware, Paios can measure optical and electrical characteristics, Phelos can measure angle-dependent spectra, and Litos can assess device stability of OLED devices.

Fraunhofer Institute for Photonic Microsystems IPMS  
Fraunhofer IPMS is the world's leading independent research and development center for microdisplays. At IDW 2024, we will be showing OLED microdisplays (semi-transparent, ultra-low power, high resolution) and, in cooperation with HOLOEYE Photonics AG, an LCOS microdisplay. We look forward to talking to all interested parties and to working on joint projects.

MiNY PL is an inspection system for micro LED wafers utilizing photoluminescence(PL) measurement method. This is a non-contact, non-destructive method for evaluating LED characteristics by imaging the light emitted from LEDs by photoexcitation and enables automatic screening of LED defects on wafers using the measurement results of “emission wavelength”, “PL intensity”, and “appearance”.
3 main features of MiNY PL are as follows.
· Detects abnormalities in luminescence and wavelength that cannot be detected by Automated Optical Inspection(AOI).
· Enables 100% inspection, which is not possible with electroluminescence(EL) inspection.
· Enables inspection in the front-end of the manufacturing process, contributing to higher yields.

As a supplier of automotive components, we manufacture semiconductors in-house, and have applied our manufacturing technology to develop a revolutionary micro-LED display manufacturing process. The self-alignment structure during chip mounting improves speed and yield compared to the conventional mass transfer method, without being limited by the precision of the equipment. This process also makes it possible to use existing LCD panel factories for mass production. In addition, the use of CMOS ICs to drive LEDs and transparent polyimide substrates will enable flexible and transparent displays that have never been seen before, and are expected to be applied to a wide variety of products.
   
TOPCON TECHNOHOUSE CORPORATION  
Since display panels in AR/VR display devices have become smaller and had higher resolution in recent years, the point measurement with spot LMDs has become difficult to be accurately performed. Therefore, 2D imaging light spectrometry measurements are desired in the measurements for AR/VR display devices. We have been performing the 2D spectrometry measurement for various commercially available AR/VR display devices using our spectroradiometer (Topcon Technohouse Corporation model SR-5100 HM). During the exhibition, we will demonstrate SR-5100HM with 40/80/140 degree lens to measure luminance uniformity, chromaticity non-uniformity and contrast specified in IEC 63145-20-10.
